Karachi really does not have a shortage of beautiful old classical buildings!

like some of these on I. I. Chundrigar Road:

The State Bank Library:

The Karachi Chamber of Commerce:

and Chamber of Commerce Bldg 2
if only this building could be cleaned and renovated....

The Beaufort Building
(currently under threat of destruction by its greedy owners)

which brings to an end our very condensed tour of Karachi's glorious past.
If you are curious to see more about it, visit the Karachi's history link in my signature early next year.

Tomorrow? how about some more tourist attractions in Karachi, and then we might hit up some educational institutes.
