There are also plans for a 300+ tower for Warsaw in the neighborhood of The Palace of Cluture.

These are only conceptions how it might look like.

Warsaw shouldn't block its one outrageous iconic building by taller, less individualistic buildings.

In Paris they would never block the Eiffel-Tower or in Berlin the Fernsehturm.

True... but in Paris, they should definitly block Tour Montparnasse with other skyscrapers around!

The Tour Montparnasse will get a new lighting display from June 21st 2011 ('Fête de la Musique') which will be permanent & impressive. Furthermore, a reclad is supposed to take place in the near future as well (eco-friendly one). Those improvements are meant to make the Parisians appreciate Montparnasse Tower more than they currently do. Therefore, it doesn't need to be hidden by some more tall buildings.

Montparnasse already looks good at night imo:

But on 21 June, its lighting scheme will be close to that of Eiffel Tower(in terms of beauty)as blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) will be installed between floors, with a set of pulsating lights at the summit:

I agree. I like that building. But I believe the designs for those other buildings haven't been finalized yet so I hope what they design will be outstanding. Truthfully, minus this concrete monster, Warsaw does have about 3 other standout buildings.

They should at least reclad the Tour Montparnasse.
The location is terrible, but at least slim side of the building has potential.
How about something classic with sandstone.

In Sim City 3000 the tower looked good:

Russia Tower is my all-time favourite, but Hermitage Plaza seems more likely to be built soon.
