I am suprised no one has talked at all bout the recent WSU success. someone should make a thread abou it. they were 4th in the nation for a while.

meh, overrated. this is their one and only year, plus we dont need to discuss them on a UW thread. Their football program is going into the cellar next year.....and will lose the next 7 applecups i predict.

At the arizona game yesterday there was the 'biggest fan' competition. First was trivia, which eliminated most and then the remaining students had to sing the fight song without mistakes. Anyway when they got to "leather lungs together with a rah rah rah(fuck wazzu)" obviously none of the kids were going to say "fuck wazzu" while someone from FSN was taping them. But they got booed nonetheless.

Taunting Jarred Bayless was the best fun I've had all year. That guy is an prima donna, it was great to venoy overton play so well against him last night.

more like the wsu grad was the student that wanted to go to a school that wasnt overcrowded or dangerous, and could expect to see some wins when they went to sporting events.

im not going to say anthing else though because i did not come here to bad mouth uw. its a world class institution. i was just wondering when there would be threads about the other universities in the state, not just wsu, but western and central etc.

oh please.....god, WSU just wishes they were half as good as UW at everything. Everyone who went to WSU from my high school were all the partier slackers...so please....i dont want to hear it. And yes, it will be less dangerous when you live in the middle of a corn field. Pfshh! Anyways, WSU doesnt need to be explained in this forum. Its the SEATTLE forum...not washington state...go talk about it wherever spokane can be found on this website.

When I went to school, WAZZU was having drunken riots despite being a dry campus, because WSU students couldn't handle their alcohol. As for winning, when I went to UW, we won a Rose Bowl and went to the Sweet 16 in basketball. When was the last time WAZZU won a Rose Bowl or went to a Sweet 16? I am not sure on class sizes there, but the Palouse isn't crowded, so I will grant you that reason. Better reasons you could have listed are an interest in agriculture, veterinary sciences, or broadcast journalism; the three programs where you have us beat (because we aren't trying).

Then go start one in the NW forum. Don't whine to us UW alums, students, faculty, fans, etc. here. I don't give a rip about WSU-Pullman. I am more interested in the WSU branch campuses evolution away from WSU into free standing universities, a topic for another thread.
