That central artery thing should be considered a crime not only agants urbanity, but humanity as well. lol.

Yea there have been too many development mistakes made by Boston in the past. The Big Dig is a step in the right direction, hopefully we can rebuild some of what was lost.

man oh man, houstons so much prettier in the old days, at least the downtown seems more lively and not so much surface parking.

If you'd care to notice, surface lots where much worse in the late 50s to mid-70s then they ever could be today.

It may seem so, but Downtown right now is more lively then it has been since the 50s.

Really? I would think the total opposite. They probably take the most pride in their huge historical roll and abundance of historical buildings.

Its pretty easy to get old photos of the buildings in Philadelphia but not good clear skyline shots from the 20's and 30's when things were really taking off for the city.

It just saw snow in 2004 so i wouldnt say never and global warming isnt a proven thing climates do go in cycles sorry i find that theory more believable.
