Anyway, I wouldn't mind staying in either one of the two #40 duplexes.

The lighting looks a bit tacky in the renderings on the website.... but these things have a tendency to look better in real life. And yes..... this definately is not a masterpiece.... but the dude that said it only has 1 post so was obviously new to these things. It has potential though. We have to see what quality the construct it to.

I like it, but the ads I had seen for them looked better? Either way, good to add more height and variety to my area.

The Libeskind tower is supposed to be 192m high ;-)

But anyway, the highhest residential in Europe is the Triumph Palace in Moscow (as far as I remember 246m)

It is nice, but it isnt europes tallest. It barely qualifies as a skyscraper at that height. It will look good though and will add to canary wharfs skyline.

It certainly isnt the best thing Londons come up with.

This is by no means europes tallest residential building.

There is turning torso, some russian ones and even the colonia tower in cologne is 147 m high.

The tower itself is beautiful, exactly what a residential building should look like IMO, elegant and yet modern.
BTW, 50 floors and 147m okay, pretty tall, but the Triumph Palace in Moscow is higher than that.
I agree with that. I mean, even in The Netherlands we already have a residential tower of 150 meters. And there will be built one of almost 165 meters in Rotterdam. Some other towers between 140 and 160 meters are under construction or will be built within 5 years.

Even in the smaller cities, like Groningen (northern Netherlands, almost 200.000 dwellers) are towers of 150 meters in study.

This isn't Europes tallest residential and we have better buildings under contruction here in London imo. Like the 165meter Broadgate Tower...

and here is a shot of it's current construction. At the moments it's the groundworks the core will be rising very soon.

And also the Willis building which is smaller then Pan Peninsula Tower at 125m but don't let the height fool you this building has big dimensions.

And the core rising...

I find these buildings more interesting then Pan... But I like Pan, alongside Ontario Tower it's gonna add width to the Canary Wharf cluster.

so as it turns out, this tower isn't either a masterpiece, nor Europe's tallest residential building...
I guess I should call this false advertising
