In 10 years from now, London will look more like an Asian city rather than like a European city.

I wouldn´t exactly call it a masterpiece , and no way it will be europe´s highest residential tower, are u kidding me? how about Turning Torso for example?? and there are several other towers u/c or aproved higher than that.

I agree - with a bit of a US feel thrown in for good measure - London will never have a single cluster, and there are a whole host of unusual looking towers planned, dotted down the Thames - similar to the way Bangkok has progressed - below is a pano I put I took (with pan peninsula added)and also a pano put together of two pics by Mikey on the UK forum - showing London and its emerging skylines. The third picture shows a close up of the distant skyline.

Simple building, but who cares? It's good looking, London has many other buildings to get exited about.

Mate, put it into context. We're talking about a building in London, not comparing it to anything in any other city. In London terms, this is a seriously stylish building.

Looks nice in picture, but I have a feeling it will end up looking very ugly in 10-20 years time...

Thanks wjfox2002. I agree not all buildings should be brilland, and world famous like can be Swiss Re. I like this residential building, reminds me to some Miami towers and I think that would be different and nice one for CW skyline.

Why can't they build something decent in the Docklands?

What is with this chunky boxes that belong to a Minneapolis, not to London?

This new residential tower does not look attractive even in the renders, in reality will end up being like a Manila condo.

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but isn't it not counted as all resi if it's part hotel? Looks ok though. Be nice if it were a little taller.
