Don't like the design that much... There are way better towers.

Second point: please do not compare North-American, Asian or Middle-Eastearn towers with European Towers. London combines medieval churches and streets with 21century state-of-the-art skyscrapers. Hardly a typical feature of North-American, Asian or Middle-Eastern cities.

To your information Oraco Tower by Libeskind in Warsaw would be only residential and the design is much more modern in good meaning of this word than Pan Penisula Tower. And no offence but Moscow from the begginig of the Europe was in the same place I mean in the east side od the Europe and now the Palace of Tryumph is the highest building in Europe.

I'm happy it is being built, but calling it a masterpiece is an exaggeration!

You are arguing semantics now. Turning Torso has 12 floors of offices and 47 floors of residential.

Isn't Pan Peninsula going to have a resturaunt at the top? It's mixed used then.

You are a bit jealous, aren't u?? I find Lebiskind Tower much more interesting and modern than yours Pan Penisula Tower !!! PPT looks like an ordinary residental tower, nothing more (maybe exept the height!!). Orco Tower looks amazing indeed. Seems to be like a sail. Great one for Warsaw.

Why should he be jealous? Just because pan paninsula isnt a futuristic style tower? It's a new york style art deco tower, with a bit of asian style thrown in too. sounds like a good combination to me.

It does look better than PP, but we still have lots of nice residential buildings in london like Beetham tower.

So the thread starter may of gotten the 'tallest residental in Europe'' claim wrong. Is that any reason to purposely have a bash at London and this building, so ok it may not be THEE masterpiece skyscraper in the world, but its certinaly not rubbish. It looks good and will look good in canary wharf.

some people should grow up.
