Seoul: International Business Center - 580m/130 floors (Never Built)

This thing is tall 580 meters. And it has already been approved.
The South Korean Air Force has cleared this project by deciding not to enforce the current height limit (410 m) of Seoul.
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was established between the Korea Foreign Company Association (FORCA) & Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) last December, enabling further development of the plan.
- If completed before Burj Dubai, the International Business Center will be the world's tallest building.

Height (struct.) 580 m 1,903 ft

Floors (OG) 130

Construction end 2008

Status approved

This project is known for years, but where is the progress?

I think it was approved but there was nothing after that. No official statement saying it's cancelled. Pity though because it's a great design

looks good, but we will see if it gets built.
also i doubt it will be done before 2008, no groundwork, nothing at all.

Unless the foundation work is compleated, no way this building will be ready by 2008.

There is no chance this will be topped out before Burj Dubai. This has nothing at all started underground and BD's framework is well above ground. File that in Not A Chance

This is one of the buildings I really want to see built but the situation looks like nothing is going to happen. It's been approved for years and nothing has surfaced since it's approval.

Very nice building, but I'm not too sure if it'll ever get built...

It's a very nice design, and it is really tall! I hope that if it isn't dead it will be built one day.
