many of the latest sources implied the taller tower would be 130m.

Time for an update. The structural work on the mall is almost completed. In the meanwhile main contractors have been found for the hotel tower and also for the palace to be reconstructed. Contruction start is imminent.

Amazing construction! Love it when something is build between 2 or more old buildings!

Just for the protocol. Height of the office tower will 130m + spires, hotel tower 99m. Construction drawings (newfvgffm) definitly confirm that heights.

seems to me that it had been influenced by the famous schlesinger & mayer department store in chicago by louis h. sullivan.

Update: Shopping Center + Palais Thurn & Taxis

Fresh pictures by Franky, DAF

Shopping Center at FrankfurtHochVier as seen from the U/C OfficeTower (they're going to install the facade on this tower in 7 weeks btw)
Quite sloping columns

As a reminder: Some renders of the shopping center

And finally something's going on here as well:

Palais Thurn & Taxis - which will be a reconstruction of the historical city castle/palais that stood at this place.
You can easily notice the buildings' footprint now, first walls are going up

Comparison: Renders and old photographs of the Palais

With the office tower to the left + hotel tower right

Portal at the street

Café on the portal-terrace

Courtyard - 'Corps de Logis'

The other side of the Palais - the rotunda

Drawings of the rotunda (front + side aspect)

This room will definetely come back!

^It's the pompous 'Kuppelsaal' (cupola room), which will be used as a restaurant and a conference room

Perhaps they're going to reconstruct some additional rooms (like this, this, this or this )
Well, at least I hope so.
