yes but be a bit careful who you recommend it to. Emporis is rather unpopular with some fourmers. It used to be a totally free site that relied on the help of volutneers. It since become more commercial and its commercial use of data and images it allegedly got from volunteers is controversial.

the impression I get is that the top guys at SSP and SSC would happily see emporis wiped out of existence. SSP is actually pretty god for diagram even if the forums are useless for non americans.

the duck is to be a harvester or brewers fayre 'family' pub, I just hope they dont build the usual fake barn there !!! the hagley road is being ruined by unsympathetic developments, surely the council could have forced Calthorpes to renovate the existing building !!

The Duck was a nice building, and I'd been meaning to go there for a pint and bite to eat for a while. Looks like I left it too late.

Can't see why they knocked it down, unless it had structural problems. There's a Harvester not far from the Duck, a bit further down the road (going there tonight

) though...
