AUCKLAND REACHES FOR THE STARS IN 2006

Here is a summary of the good, the bad and the ugly that will grace Auckland's skyline and enrich the city-scape in 2006

It is my first post in "news and Developments" so I hope that you find it interesting. I feel like a virgin all over again LOL

Myers Park: A sculpture incorporating water will be commissioned for
the entrance to Myers Park.




Aotea Junction: A water sculpture pocket park on the Wakefield Street
corner will celebrate the origins of the Horotiu Stream.




Fort Street: The original foreshore line near the Fort Street intersection will be evident in the sculptural seating and markings in the footpaths and road.

Some great towers there although most of them are just youe average tower. Especially like the last one though.

Auckland is building its own Magical Skyline !


and within the next 5 Years will have a second Major Skyline on the North Shore " Takapuna "

That's right. Construction has started and will continue through-out 2006.

While we are on the subject of New Zealand. I would like to mention the following waterfront projects destined to become a reality in WELLINGTON.
