I've got to admit, I am very impressed. The quality is top notch. When these skyscrapers are finished Moscow will surpass Frankfurt, La Defense and London. The views from some of those buildings in Moscow will be incredible.

However, if London get the Shard, Cheesegrater and Helter Skelter then things will start to look a bit more even but possibly London will require more to match this district.

Great photos of Moscow, and thank you for posting the models too. What a futuristic city Moscow will be....makes me want to visit there (in the summer).

There's something I just can't understand about the new Moscow IBC. Aside from my reservations about the towers (especially Mercury) covering each other thus destroying each other's view and aesthetic value - something I've already pointed out enough times to distress people here - there's something even more mysterious to me: how the hell are they going to manage the traffic of people and vehicles? I mean, each one of these towers generates a helluva lot of traffic. And then in between the towers there's the expo-trade-commercial centre... now I know there's the new metro station, the bus terminal etc. but to me it looks like having 3-4 streets (not very big at that) for a total stretch of only a few hundred meters, is just inadequate against the requirements. On top of that, access from one cardinal direction is barred except for a footbridge (Moscow river there). Maybe it's just me, but my gut feeling is they got their calculations wrong when they decided to cram all these square meters together.

Is this "access road" big enough for you?
