Generic and boring. The towers may be visually appealing, but it's nothing more than your average modern skyline.

There's also a twisted tower both in Moscow and Dubai to the right of the skyline (at least from the perspective below) Does anybody agree?

For me Dubai skyline is brutal, but Moscow is more sophisticated.

On plots 17-18, we are getting something that is only 337 meters (Renaissance Moscow Towers) instead of a 600+-meter megatall building. Will the whole Moscow International Business Center be ruined because of this?

Plus, I have been thinking of a 600+-meter high building being developed on Plot 22 of the Moscow IBC instead. I think the plot may be too small for such a building, however.

Well, I don't see the need of 600+ megatall in this cluster.

Any thoughts on moving that big power plant or whatever it is? Does that smoke/steam reach the cluster?

That's heating plant. Unless we're getting California winter anytime soon, it's going to stay there.

To a degree I can see where you would come to this conclusion; however, I have to disagree with your verdict. Moscow has a very unique skyline with fantastic architecture. Moscow's skyline is not limited to this small cluster of glass towers--and believe me, if anyone is a critic of generic glass architecture it is I. However, Moscow also has the beautiful Seven Sisters and the Mercury City tower is a handsomely dressed behemoth with a very unique and interesting appeal that certainly makes it stand out. Moscow certainly deserves more credit and veneration.

What this cluster needs is something that is very russian. Any of these towers could have been in asia or dubai.

Remember the Russia Tower? It was planned at a height of 600 meters (2,000 feet) before the late-2000s financial crisis killed it. Why should a tower of such a height not be built in the Moscow IBC (or maybe Moscow as a whole) at all? I thought the proposed Russia Tower being replaced by a tower that is half its planned height would ruin the whole Moscow IBC district, and because of this, I still believed the Moscow area deserved just one 600-meter megatall building. Because the shorter tower that replaced the Russia Tower is already under construction, I thought such a building would be built at a different plot within the IBC. But there probably isn't any other area in Moscow to develop a megatall building.

It does have something very Russian. The Mercury City Tower is designed in the Russian constructivist style, and it's also red, an important colour in Russia.
