INHO northern cities need tall buildings more than southern ones. Look at Federation tower in Moscow; it's like a city inside a city. Some people both work and live in the tower and don't need to go out often. Federation Tower has anything you would want: restaurants, spa, fitness center and swimming pool. As for the cities you listed, the climate of Astrakhan is similar to that of Moscow, at least in January and February (average temperature in January: -4C in Astrakhan and -6C in Moscow). Other cities you mentioned don't need tall buildings yet as they have enough space to develop. The best chances of having skyscrapers in foreseeable future are Sochi and Krasnodar. The latter's population has grown by 12% in last 5 years and is projected to reach 1 million in 2022, while Sochi's population has grown by 11% in the same period but is still less than 0.5 million.

I think that it is big mistake to build a supertalls in Moscow. I am a fanat of Russian architecture of XIX century. This buildings are Vladimir Putins american dream. They are unestetic and give a big problem for nature and russian people. The Russian Economic is Poor and Static. So thats all for today. Good luck freedom people!

This is Putin's American dream, according to Freud. This shows the power of the male and sexist. The good old Russian thing of the past.

What about development of Vladivostok? Is it Putin's Japanese dream? Is Sochi Putin's Olympic dream? Don't forget FIFA World Cup, it should be Putin's Brazilian dream. Dominance in space? It's Putin's universal dream. Skyscrapers in Yekaterinburg and Saint-Pete? Well, Dreams come true (© Gazprom). And I should admit that "good old Russian thing" of developing/creating/constructing which existed before 1492 is adorable. Some other nations can do nothing but destroy anything that has been created before them and for them (we both know who I mean). Hasta la vista, baby (Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger, 1991).

Thanks for info. Simply - If I were to live in RF, I´d pick some city with nice weather, so I´d like the cities I was talking about to be more urbanised. I really wouldn´t like to live only inside a building. Astrakhan and Moscow has really different climate, at least according to my opinion Average highest temperature in Astrakhan is 5 - 10 C higher than in Moscow. But it´s not important https://www.meteoblue.com/cs/po%C4%8...8_rusko_580497
If Moscow had the same climate as Astrakhan, it would be much more popular for tourists. I´d travel there every may or June for example But of course, dreaming and needing is one thing and reality and possibilities are something quite different. I would also imagine "Sky city" to stand in Sochi, the city would have 30.000 more citizens at a spot and would become one of the most famous cities in the world.
Space to develop is in the sky

It had better render design, with black facade and shorter spire or just pointed metal construction on top, when this tower had old name. Can someone remind me its old name?
