When it comes to density, it's between China and Brazil. China's (including HK and Macau) skycrapers on it's largest cities are as dense or even denser than Brazil's especially skyscrapers in mainland cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

Now:
In quantity China >> Brazil >= USA

In quality USA >= China >> Brazil

*********
Future:
In quantity China >>>>> Brazil > USA
In quality China >>> USA > Brazil

General Huo, could that be more biased/'nationalistic' ?
I'm pretty sure the majority of buildings in China are extremely awful! Altho China has many awesome skyscrapers, still a big part of its buildings are old and/or ugly.

these brazilian kids are clowns lol

why continue to emphasize that this poll is about quantity, then what is the point of a poll? Facts are facts, if Brazil has more high rises than this poll is pointless. People in here are trying to make it more interesting by making it more than just quantity because it was never clearly stated whether this poll was about quantity or quality. And yes, please, all you Brazilian kids, stop posting multiple photos of your city, your only making me dislike the skylines even more, one or two images can clearly show that Brazilian cities have a chunk of highrises.

Ever heard of Japan

Anyway, in terms of quality, US skyscrapers are better than those in China even in the future. Hong Kong and Shanghai right now are the few cities in China that have quality skyscrapers.

But Hong Kong can be exempted in this category is it's a region of it's own though under China. But without Hong Kong, I find the quality of US skyscrapers far better than those in China! In fact, I don't even find most skyscrapers in mainland cities that impressive especially those in Shenzhen and Guangzhou!

80% of highrises are only within 10-year old, and 99.99% are no more than 15 years old, how can you say them old, u are such ignorant

HK's highrises/skyscrapers are in good quality only those beside the Victoria Bay, those majority several blocks away from the sea are ugly as hell. samo for NYC. The new highrises/skyscrapers in mainland are in same quality as new ones in HK or NYC, but in much much larger quantity.

Houston has the dullest major skyline in the US, boxy and predictable, so 80s, with a couple of minor exceptions. Dallas, Seatle, and LA and even Miami kick Houston's ass thousand times over...

Victoria Bay? Don't you mean Victoria / Hong Kong harbour

But that the thing about skyscrapers. They have their good parts and bad parts whether its in The US, China or Brazil. There are some areas in HK that have unpleasant skylines but you're right about New York and even Sao Paulo.

The new skyscrapers in the mainland are better but most of them are not as world class as HK. The Jin Mao and the SWFC are one of the few exceptions.

About Houston, I don't find anything wrong with their skyline but the tallest building in the city looks pretty lame! And it's designed by I.M. Pei! I think the city would be better if that skyscraper was constructed, the one that looks similar to Philly's tallest building

this is like a joke question ? lol

America of course, America is the first modern nation to experiment with such highrises...while americans were competing to create the tallest structure in the world in the 20th century, most countries were still fixing their roads...

America will always be the center of the world in architecture, because thats where modern archtiecture developed...even if the skyline becomes terrible which it will not, America will still be america
