For Hong Kong's density and building architecture, i would definitely give it a 10 but for the arrangments of the buildings, 6.5! Looks disorganised to me!

My opinion is the other way around, I love HK's arrangement of scrapers, the certainly create a mind-blowing effect, It's architecture and quality of buildings overall that Are Hong kong's skyline's downfall IMO. 6.5/10

6.5? It's a good thing that you are the minority.

Okay perhaps 6.5 was a little unfair I'll raise my score to 8/10, Hong Kong has somne of the best architecture in the world but it's Hong Kong's overwhelming mass of bland buildings, that keeps it from a 10 in my eyes.

no question the ultimate

I believe there is no more breathtaking skyline with IM Pei BoC & others, the mountain and the harbour (harbour maybe not technically part of the 'skyline' but, well), Hong Kong has to be experienced it is a tremendous vista.

Sometimes it's just hard to admit the obvious; in this case that would be that HK has an amazing skyline, probably the best. But... just because it's a monstrosity doesn't necessarily mean that the overall look is the most impressive. If we use women as an illustration, then liking HK's skyline based on size alone would be the equivalent as saying that the best bust is a EEE cup. Sometimes bigger isn't necessarily better. For me HK is too big and thus falls out of the realm being able to be objectively evaluated. 9/10

I wouldn't agree with EEE cup. Extremely sexy, yes. In reality, HK is only "big" because there is no choice with land scarcity. In terms of built land, it's actually smaller than most cities who sprawl endlessly with detached homes.

Isn't this sexy?

HK's skyline is monstrous indeed. But the main focus is still gonna be around Central and Wan Chai and it's good that the city's tallest and most iconic skyscrapers are concentrated in this particular area.

10/10 for Hong Kong
