BTW, KMC has one of the best records on pace of construction on NHAI projects. They just completed the Bijapur - Hungund section on NH-13 (about 100 km) in Karnakata in 19 month flat (1 year ahead of schedule!), which set the record for fastest construction pace of any NHAI projects so far. According to NHAI data, the NH-18 stretch that you posted pictures for is also progressing rapidly. I can't speak to the quality of their work, but they certainly deserve credit for being super-fast in their work. |

![]() Are you sure that the Kurnool-Kadappa stretch is progressing rapidly? It is not, but progressing at a snail's pace. ie; just above 40% even after 2 years of construction. Some of their projects are also progressing at slow pace. |

As per official NHAI statistics (generally they're fairly reliable), they have been building NH-18 at the pace of about 10km/month this year, and total speed has been about 5km/month since the beginning of the project - these figures make this one of the fastest projects in NHDP. It's a fairly long stretch (190km) by NHAI projects standard (most are <100km), so 40% in ~18 months is not so bad.Some of their other projects (primarily in Kerala) have been stuck because of land acquisition and environmental clearance issues. I don't personally know this company, but as per NHAI data, they are one of the fastest around when it comes to project completion. |
