Amazing the amount of wires in that place. They must be for all of the lights at the events there.

They really show the deterioration of the arena (beside what was destroyed on purpose for the reconstruction). Especially the second photo.

I'm really surprised there isn't a plan to beautify the outside. With the dramatic redo of the interior, I think an updated exterior would be in the plans. Maybe a phase yet to be announced?

In a way that's not needed. The owners are cheap bastards and the venue has been given special tax conditions that all but endow MSG with a captive audience. So why pay over the top knowing people have no other real options to see such events in NYC?(Can you tell I was rooting for the Jets proposed retractable-roof stadium?!!! )

As someone who walked through the seating bowl of Maple Leaf Gardens when they were stripping the interior, I can say it feels somewhat eerie to be in an arena in this state. The bowl stripped of its seats, rubble on the ground, dusty...
