Beetham Blade meet up!
Well?
A perfect opportunity for a meet up! We can watch the blade being lifted in to place and have a few drinks at the same time to celebrate! Deansagte Locks or the pub right next to Beetham(can't remember what it's called) should do!

I would, just I'm horribly disfiguired and I wouldn't want to make you all feel uncomfortable...I'd prefer to just drown my sorrows alone.

Theres a pub across the road from deansgate station, on the other side of the road from the Atlas Bar, great view of Beetham and not too close to get a sore neck, been there many a time.
Whens the blade due up anyway? (forgive me if thats been mentioned on the main thread! - i`ve not looked there today yet!) |

[QUOTE] Knott Bar (Marble group, good beers inside, great veranda for viewing Beetham). Deansgate Station used to be called Knott Mill Station, for those who didn't know. The pub is easily accessed from Deansgate Station/GMex Metrolink for those out of town. Can't miss it if you are on Deansgate to be honest. |

Hey one and all,
Happy belated christmas - Santa bought me a new laptop that I don't have to physically hold up the screen with one hand to use, so I'm intending to be back in business again! -ah, just you wait, I've got some splendid posts planned Yeah, so include me in - they even have a beer called Manchester Bitter in the Knott! |

Simple
They let anyone drink these days anyway, all you need to do is get someone who is 18 to buy your drink for you. Easy peasy!
