Since its named Guangzhou International Finance Centre, does it have any affliation with the IFC in Hong Kong and the IFC under construction in Shanghai?

dumb question about the structure...

so this is a tubular-steel structure building? similar to the TV tower also under construction?... I assume the floor will tie between the core and the steel tubes... isn't that similar to how the WTC's were built ( i.e. the exterior walls carried much of the load... but in the case of WTC's, it wasn't tubular steel.. just 'regular' beams).

any other notable buildings in the world using this method?
