A calculated i the mean time. Ladies en gentleman in September it will be on 100 stories!!! Thas 4 months to go, because they do 10 stories a month.

this will slow to snails pace soon because the core will top out at lev70 or 308m. then the building will take on a whole new construction phase with the top 30floors being hollow core like Jin mao and ICC.
ICC core has topped out and hasnt moved for months even though it still has 60m/20storeys to go.

Didn't know that before, thanks for info. Looks like top level atriums are in fashion in China. I follow this fashion, the one in Jin Mao looks awesome!

the ICC is being built in stages, the bottom of the building is already occupied, so they are in no particular rush, the west tower however i believe will be built in one go so thats abad example.... the time taken to shift over to steel on the burj dubai is a better comparison....

I still believe that the core is halted or at least very much slowed down and they will start to work on the external ribbing to catch up with the core.

core isn't halted , steel part is rising very fast...so no need to stop construction on the core

they can't stop the core because of the construction technique used ..for now they'll still grow the core with the steal sections ..this will be interesting to see at what pace will that happen

its lev61 in core now. when it gets to 70 it will stop and hollow steel section will take over.
