So I guess this is based in Feng Shui then just like the West Tower and East Tower in Guangzhou.

(no offense, lol)

It is a twin to a certain extent, (only the exo skeleton of the west tower compared to the TV tower) but not really a twin

Maybe it is because most people tried to use the wide angle when taking pics of west tower and the TV tower, which will certainly make things look fat.

I have a canon 17-40m/4L lens and I always avoid the 17mm side. Just push it to 20mm and the pic will look much better

I might be wrong, but I believe the photo posted by Toddhubert depicts the area with the most supertalls in construction phase (or soon to be in construction phase) in the world... West tower... East tower... Pearl River tower... Tv tower... Leatop Plaza... Plot B2-10... Park Hyatt... The Pinnacle... all within a 2km per one rectangle (more or less, I don't know the exact distances)...

If you include Prep, Jiefangbei area in Chongqing City has even more within a mere 800x600m area

Wonderfull to see the cladding installation resume after a long holiday. I wish they would do some of the mechanical floors though as well, it'd give the building a more "finished" look.

burj's just dictated by a massive core in the middle. And very thin towers rising beside it.
