How many plots in JLT are still without a launched tower?

Seems I'm replying to myself. I've improved the thread today. I was sick so had some spare time. I added new renders or better ones where necessary. It's not finished yet though.

keep cool malec, your thread has 26.000 views. that should be enough

anyway i like this thread, you can find everything in there (except that white Conrad hotel proposal )

and it keeps those updated who don't post in the UAE section.

pretty obvious now!!

dubai will have like the 8-10 world's tallest residentials in the next few years, all taller than 325m

I'd say this will probably replace that new one found 2 weeks ago then.

Anyways my thoughts on the design: From the front it looks great so people living on palm jumeirah will see the best part. I don't like the spire from the side though, it looks out of proportion a bit. It would help if there were some more building up near the top.

Just thinking, I wonder if Damac will be able to make money on this one. Am sure a tower this high must have some huge maintenance costs. I remember hearing that unless prestige is involved then about 80 or 90 floors is pretty much the highest you want to go if you're to maximise profits. Is this right?

That res tower is simply amazing. Is based on a sword or something cuz for some reason it reminds me of an Arabian sword.

It needs some reworking I think. Also I think it's the same tower as the one seen a few weeks ago. Apparently Damac have been having some trouble selling appartments in the original ocean heights so this one will have to wait a while.

Here's what I think it should look like
