But if you check "Dubai Gossip" thread on UAE section, you'll see a news posted for a tender issued for constructing a 55-storeys tower in SZR, mentioning that A.P.C.C. has already started working on the site. There is only one site where A.P.C.C. is working currently, and that is right next to Falcon tower.

There is a small project board on the site (without render) and from what I've could see from the highway, I didn't notice any SOM on it.

Unless you yourself have clearly seen the board on the site, that tower is a different one.

2 proposals:

Port Saeed Community Development (too bad it's only a competition entry because it looks great):

Mixed Use Development Dubai, United Arab Emirates (they mention both dubai and abu dhabi, which is it ) It looks more like a dubai design though:

I was wondering. There are some completed towers here, do you think I should get rid of them from the list?

Cool where did you find these? Were they on the same site?

Maybe it's one of the unknowns on SZR

I thought that first too, but it can't be becouse that 55F tower is from Khatib & Alami, while this one is from a UK or US architectural studio.

The architects are CAMBRIDGE SEVEN ASSOCIATES, INC. and the building is a 75F mixed use competition entry, commissioned by Adub Dhabi's Royal Family for a SZR plot in Dubai.
