Anyway, here's Vision Tower for business bay. It's around 60 floors high and should be about 260m or so. Doubt it'll hit 300. Looks great!

And now the grand lobby:

I love this tower.

What I really like about this building is how it's not overdone. It seems to be pretty iconic but doesn't take away the attention from surrounding buildings either

Most of these are actually residential or hotel towers. Only a few are offices I think.

I think petey is talking about the 80s picture where there is huge open space, yet all the buildings are highrises. I mean like i udnerstand now why they build it this way but back then it looks so weird. There is like huge distanes between the towers on that pic.

^ Some of the bridges aren't open to traffic either, there were workers and no cars there this morning. The I/C 4.5 being open, is just BS.

That's what it's supposed to look like. Yes it does suck balls. I don't think it is approved though since there was some controversy over its similarity to big ben. Hopefully it won't go through, or the developer will go broke or something because it's in a really prominant location too (almost right in front of emirates towers)

Dubai needs to create it's own style, which is pretty good already. Not copy exsiting buidlings!
