950m? Possible but let's wait and see.
1000m? Again possible but wait and see. That would be superb.
1300m? I'll have to see that to believe it. If top of concrete is 575m to floor 154, then how can it be built upto 1300m? Bit of a stretch don't you think? (unless top of concrete is not 575m or floor 154.

I still say mid 800m but mid 900m to 1k would be awesome.

dubai boy if you have your sources explain/post them, otherwise shut up, this will never reach 1300m.

I cant be arsed searching through the 11 parts of this thread, but a few articles have been posted which state explicitly that the foundation can "only" take a 950m building. IF they want to build it to 1300m it will fall down

nezzybaby , i dont know you that well , so you could be kidding around, but if you are not, dont ever tell me to shut up again.

I have my sources. Nothing in articles, nothing written.

I was working for a company that was involved with the burj dubai in such away they would have to have the drawings and final height. One of the top engineers was talking to me , and old man , and he was talking about all sorts of projects going on in Dubai but i kept going back to the Burj Dubai. His toungue slipped and he mentioned 1300 meters !! and i was like , come again , 1300 !! he was like , yes 1300 and you could see this look on his face that read "Oyyyyyyyy fock"

Oh i see.. Maybe they will install those huge skinny communications antenna at the top to give the 1300m height.

Yah know the ones you see in Canada or the United States sitting in the middle of nowhere standing so tall.

Yes, we can't build but what about Dubai

By the way, don't exaggerate Emaar, 800m is enough i think

true , also, let's say 950m building + 300m spire

well let's not start that again, 1300 is really tall, but the magical figure..well who knows

750m building + 250m roof/spire is possible no doubt.

and nobody can call this cheating if anybody will i will him

btw Dennis you are going to visit Dubai in oct 2006? will be fun for you, hope you enjoy it.
ok actually i am sure you will
are you staying in a hotel?
