But you said that you have seen glass and facade testing before even the escavation for the building started, while the links you posted shows testing of the facade on the building itself.

You got "lost in translation" there.

Check images of the same month for the first buliding.
http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=167734 (building in the background it's another building that has nothing to do with Torre Mare Nostrum)
http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=167735 That is the space where the tower is built, same month as the other and grass growing on the place.
http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=196545
http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=196543
The test on this building (demolished) and then the status of the excavation.

Also there were in Madrid Arena 4 test for Foster's Torre Repsol before excavation began, but I couldn't find the images.

Another same month series: I don't know how long the test was there, but the building was still on the first level:

I think you get "lost in space" and time

I'm going to Dubai next week and will try to take lots of photos, especially at night. Does anyone know the address of any visitor centres for the Burj Dubai or the Palm projects? It would be good to get some photos of the models of these projects. I assume the visitor centres would be near the construction sites?

For that render with the deeper blue background on page 18 (the smaller of the two images), I counted somewhere around 225-230 F, and about 205 F with the larger-sized render posted below it. Granted I may be off a bit, but it seems to be that most renders are now showing about 200 floors. With the aspect of floor heights though, I think you're right in that there are different floor heights throughout the tower. Even the smaller render shows that.

Not bad, not bad. Saw it too. And record it. I will watch it in the afternoon + the evening etc....

But I think a to short report. They should spend more time for so impressive projects.

BTW they say, 1/4 of the worlds cranes are in Dubai. And it's just the beginning.
also the BURJ DUBAI rise 1 floor in 3 days. I think that is incorrect!!

What was the show called, really want a copy of it .

Burj Dubai rises two floors per week..., so it is something like that.

_______

Did you record it on VHS or DVD? If VHS maybe you have a videoin on your GFX-card?

Plz share it with us

the fastest a floor can rise in a skyscraper is approx 1 floor every 5 days. There has been a few skyscrapers in Australia that have gone up at that speed in last couple of years.
but most are a floor every 7 day cycle. It all comes down to concrete cure ect.
