Yes, this thread will follow lesser-known projects. Although there is a lot of construction going on around Hong Kong, it's quite difficult to track down information about these projects and find photos. I'll do my best to shed light on a variety of interesting buildings under construction in HK.

Wow, you could almost buy a car for the same price of a few nights in one of the higher rooms in the Four Seasons!!

Are there any relatively cheap hotels in HK?

I know Jin Mao is in a different city, but Ive always wanted to stay there! Imagine having a room on the 80-88th floor range.. It would be a very memorable experience to stay up above the 400m mark for a few days!

Left on the pic should be Nam Cheong Station or something near Nam Cheong Station of West Rail.
The buidling on the right is one of the building of Aqua Marine, a private residential estates of five blocks, developed by Hang Lung in Cheung Sha Wan new residential area. It's been completed for 2 years and is still selling. It's front(those facing harbour) units have spectacular Victoria Harbour view from Admiralty to the West end of HK Island. Of course, you can see 2IFC, BOC & the Centre from there.
