Manhattan Hill ~ 197.7m.

Bloody hell, why not just add an extra 2.8m and make it an even 200/

Yes but why leave it at such an odd number?

Just add the extra height ~ it's 2m, not like 50m, and make it 200.

@ Itarilde: Where on hk-place do you find construction photos. I searched and searched, but simply couldn't find anything. I'd love to be able to keep up at other places as well. And thanks for kindly posting them here!
UserDemos: The link is here: http://www.hk-place.com/vp.php?board=1&id=2114-1 Look through all the threads and you will find dozens of photos.

There is a height restriction in the area. The original height is 192m.

@ Italrilde: Thanks tons! Do they update that thread (like say in one week with new photos), or do they create a new one for the new photos (so I know where to go scouting to find the newer ones say in a week)?

And again! Thanks tons! - Demo.

You are welcome
They (mostly 久地遊覽) would update it within the thread. But the arrangements of posts in that forum is a bit peculiar, so you would have to look carefully to find the latest replies (there is a time stamp, whatever)~

Some residents in the interior areas of Kowloon have complained these walls of tall buildings are blocking the air flow from the ocean and wrapping around the older areas. The contrast from inside the midrises in the older districts is quite huge with these tall structures rising everywhere.

I'm almost scared to go into Hong Kong threads because they take up so much bandwith.

This is a crop from a photo I shot yesterday. I believe this is the future ICAC headquarters. Correct me if I were wrong?

There is a lot of growth in the secondary districts, and the tallest building in HK is currently under construction in West Kowloon.

At the center of the photo (Behind Kodak Building)
is New ICAC HQ. Another crane can you seen? It is hotel development.

Wow! Excellent Megabox update. It looks very much like the renders and One Kowloon looks very sleek. I doubt that the skyscraper boom will ever end.. it may slow.. but you will continually see 150m + buildings going up at a steady pace.
