One question to CULWULLA...

How do you know the exact high of the Burj Dubai what's now under construction?
you say; "It's 80 meters tall now..." how do you know?

That's crazy, there are less than 30 buildings over 300m completed in the world. To have more 300m+ buildings U/C than completed is quite and acheivement. We really are living in a golden age for skyscrapers.

Keep the awesome diagrams coming .

What about Borj-e-milad in Tehran its the worlds 4th tallest freestanding structure
its 435 meters (1427 ft) high

http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/2...teddec13kp.jpg

Just a thought. has anyone noticed how most of the 30 skyscrapers that are in diagram which are 300m+ are all at early stages? its amazing how there are lucky to be 30 skyscrapers in the world atm over 300m but now in 2006 we have another 30 uc? that means in 3 years there will be 60 skyscrapers over 300m.
does this mean it will double again in a few years?

a wild guess takes me to at least 4 to 5 300m+ for dubai in 2006.
2 or 3 in business bay, another 2 or 3 for SZR (we have some unknown there at the moment) and maybe 1 or 2 for the marina and DIFC.
