some of projects are nice for sure. but you don't need to make separate threads for every highrise. use a one for highrises and separate threads for noticeable, very tall, projects only...

anyway please note that every single project but one includes several towers and they are pretty big projects in different areas so I don't really see how else I could share them, have a closer look

ok, all these towers are located in some huge areas of Milano that will be requalificated from now till 2015, the year of the World Expo that the city would host.

The main projects will be:

-Rho-Pero
-Citylife
-Garibaldi-Rebubblica
-Varesine
-Portello
-Montecity-Rogoredo-Santa Giulia
-P.ta Vittoria
-Farini
-Area ex Falk
-Lorenteggio

gradually in these days we will post all the informations, renders and images.

First of all, I already say that Milano will be for the next years a city U/C, it will change radically, from new buildings to new infrastructures of the city and the metro area.

Milano is involved in the biggest requalification of former industrial areas, in terms of sqm, of Europe actually.

today we write about the Rho-Pero area, where the last year was inaugurated the brand new fair complex of Milan. It's actually the biggest in Europe, and one of the biggest in the world.

that's the map of the area in which is located the new complex (Fiera Milano), and the "old" one is in the city centre(Fiera Milanocity)

the project is the first one that has been completed, or better is in use, though some others works around the complex are now in progress. the other works include the contruction of some skyscrapers, including a highest one that would become the symbol of the World Expo of 2015.

The New Fair Complex, won the International Architecture Award 2007 of the Chicago Athenaeum, .

The prize recognizes particularly the good project, the innovation, the use of brand new materials and the attention for the eco-impact. The new complex has been judged between other 57 projects, and over 500 projects that partecipated all over the world.
