Grabe sa effort myx! Keep 'em coming!
OT again: I agree with you otakaw and lumpia. It makes me feel proud when the international community (esp. the Asians) takes note of the Spanish-named towns in our country. Even the barely hispanicized moros have their places named in Spanish as lumpia indicated. But don't forget some English-named places here in our country, like the town of New Washington in Aklan, Jones in Isabela, and Brooke's Point in Palawan. Pati sa expressway, maraming exits are named in Spanish or English, like Santa Rita, Floridablanca, San Fernando, Southwoods, Greenfield, San Pedro, La Marea, and even Mexico! Parang California-ish. That makes us different talaga from our neighbors.

OT: just a note on Mexico,Pampanga, It wasn't named after the country Mexico. The name of the town Mexico in Pampanga is derived from its old Capampangan name Masicu (forgot what it means).

For me, it's part of the Filipino culture. It ain't colonial mentality or anything like it. And that's why I'm proud of it. Maski Espanyol o Amerikano ito, basta nasa Pilipinas, Pilipino ito.

Again, great job myx! Is Mayfair owned by SM?

Whatever happened in the past whether your grandmother being raped by the colonizers or townsfolk being bayoneted is nothing to be proud of! Granted it's part of our history but it is something not to be proud of regardless of how you look at it. It is part of our history that should not be forgotten but at the same not to be glorified!

Everyone has their own views on history. Glad you shared yours.

Wow, can't wait for the ICON, now that there are two of them.
