MANILA, Philippines - In the face of ever-increasing urbanization and modernity, land has become an increasingly precious commodity. Thus, it should surprise no one that real-estate developers endeavor to maximize every square meter of their residential high-rise developments in metropolitan Manila to achieve the maximum return of investment. This often results in cramped, even stifling spaces which developers try to mitigate through interior-design embellishments.

Given the current direction in residential high-rise developments, The Trion Towers in Bonifacio Global City, one of premier real-estate developer Robinsons Land Corp.’s luxury developments, offers something almost revolutionary: breathtaking views and invigorating natural light in each and every room of the Trion’s three 49-storey buildings laid out in a unique tri-axial design.

Robinsons Land senior vice president Raoul E. Littaua says that it is precisely the Trion’s tri-axial design which provides future homeowners such premium features as natural light, natural ventilation and stunning views, qualities that other vertical residential developments will be hard-pressed to provide. “You will get a sense of this from the model units (designed by Songsong & Periquet and JP+CG Architects Co.) in our showroom,” he says. “The towers are positioned from one another so that no view is blocked off from each unit.”

Indeed, depending on which tower one resides, one will get expansive views of either scenic Laguna de Bay, the sophisticated Ortigas skyline, or Manila Bay with its world-famous sunset. Moreover, each floor is laid-out in such a way that it allows light in and air to flow freely, yielding a truly refreshing atmosphere.

The Trion Towers features one-bedroom flat units (ranging from 42.13 to 55.29 sqm), two-bedroom flat units (58.98 to 61.83 sqm), and three-bedroom flat units (101.11 to 123.02 sqm), all with high ceilings and huge windows to let in the that relaxing breeze that come with high-rise living. The units are excellent for full nesters or growing families, while some feature balconies for al fresco moments unlike any other in the city.

The sense of luxury extends beyond the ingenious design of the towers, of course. At the heart of the high-rise is the beautifully-landscaped Central Plaza Garden, which spreads throughout the property to provide homeowners sublime ponds, stirring meditation gardens, quiet reading nooks, calming paths and a majestic fountain, features that encourage time to shut out the hurly-burly of city life and recharge the soul. There is also a the Stargazer’s Garden for totally magical evenings.

As the leading developer in the Philippines, Ayala Land Inc. is also at the forefront of sustainable design. The green roof doubles as an urban park, turning retail focus outward and capturing foot traffic from a nearby mass transit station. Ramping systems establish a natural pedestrian thoroughfare, connecting the retail center to adjacent hotel and office towers. Natural ventilation and daylighting save energy while creating a comfortable environment.

SOLEMARE PARKSUITES, 18F, twin towers, u/c, PARANAQUE

The etymology of SoleMare, which in Italian means sun and sea, Beth Ventura, ALHI AVP for Sales and Marketing was quick to quip that it came naturally due to its obvious surroundings and the views of magnificent horizons and vistas.

SoleMare Parksuites, is a 18-storey twin tower residential condominium located in what promises to be the next big major destination in the metropolis in Aseana Business Park, along Bradco Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Paranaque City. The Solemare Parksuites is a stone’s throw away from the SM Mall of Asia.

Already within the vicinity are five star hotels, residential towers, banks, countless dining options, schools, sports arenas and casinos. In no time, more of the same proximities are expected to mushroom including exciting new places like the Aseana Powerstation, Neo Chinatown and the PAGCOR City.

MANILA, Feb. 18 (PNA) – Anchor Land Holdings, Inc., in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), announced its continued expansion with the development of its SoleMare Parksuites at the Aseana Business Park in Diosdado Macapagal Avenue in Paranaque City.

The twin tower 18‐storey project is located in an emerging entertainment and cultural hub near Macapagal Avenue, where landmarks such as the Mall of Asia, Blue Wave and the planned Philippine Amusement Gaming Center (Pagcor) Entertainment City are just short distances away.

SoleMare Parksuites follows on the heels of Anchor Land’s successful developments like the Mandarin Square and the Lee Towers in Manila’s Chinatown and the Mayfair Tower along UN Avenue, which were all delivered to buyers ahead of schedule.

Such projects established Anchor Land’s solid reputation and strong niche in the discriminating ethnic Chinese market. (PNA)

I am ecstatic about these wonderful developments in our beloved capital, and the Philippines as a whole. I am saddened though that a lot of these projects are forgettable and run the risk of becoming eyesores in 5-10 years time, when--I can feel this is coming--the Philippine Art Renaissance will be in full swing. At best, they contribute to Manila's skyline density. At worst, they will become haunting relics of uninspired works and wanton commercial pursuits. I mean, if you were to plunk in millions--even billions-- of pesos to a project that will be set in steel and stone, wouldn't you try a little harder to make it worthy of your name and legacy? But then again, since when did art and profit are used in the same sentence except in auctions and high profile transactions? To be fair though, I am excited and proud about projects like The Waltz, Eton Centris, Pagcor's Tourism City, West Marina Bay, Newport City, The CCP Complex plans, and the like. We are getting there... I apologize if this is the wrong thread to share this comment, but this is my first time to do so. I firmly believe this forum is a great force to bring about that change. I am amazed at the intelligence, expertise, and ingenuity oozing from this forum per pixel! I love the pictures and the info, guys, and I hope you will keep everybody informed, enlightened, and excited. Kudos to you all!

I am actually more impressed with the high rise developments going on in the Manila Area than here in Toronto. A lot of developments here are plain and boxy, typical Toronto architecture..but the projects going on in Manila are definitely NOT forgettable
