![]() I'm ok with a 1-0 loss. At least we are not getting smashed!! May go through via the 3rd place thing but a whole lot of other results have to go the right way...

Well that was awesome... Spain flogged us 5-1
Most of the goals came in the first 30 minutes of the game. Our defence is a shambles. Jan Vesjeilen should probably go, he hasn't coached any of our youth teams to a win in any competitive matches yet.

Wales 1 - 2 Australia
Goals to Cahill & Kruse for us & Blake got one late for Wales. Comfortable performance really. Wales made a late rally in which their goal came but other than that, they were pretty toothless. I think a 2 goal win probably would have been a better indication of how things went. We hit the post a few times. Not sure how a team that has players like Bellamy, Bale & Ramsey etc can be so rubbish. Bale did look class when he was on the ball though I have to say. |

Which city will you be in?If it's Sydney or Melbourne then the two main supermarket chains - Woolworths and Coles - are open until midnight every night. There will be plenty of pubs and bars around which are open, just walk the CBD for a while until you find one. Most restaurants will be packing up around 10 pm on a Sunday but there is certainly plenty which are open till after midnight - Chinatowns are always good for this. If you want a bit more variety, you might have to head out of the CBD into some of the inner suburbs ie Fitzroy, St Kilda, South Yarra. As for Football, they show it on Fox Sports. Most Hotel rooms with cable have at least Fox sports 2, which will show some games. There are certain pubs which show the games too, The Celtic Inn in Melbourne shows all Arsenal and Liverpool games unless that kick off after 2am. |

![]() He's going to be in Brisbane. Shouldn't have any trouble finding bars that are open. The Pig & Whistle shows live EPL, it's on Eagle St in the CBD. |

Anyone else on here going?? Ticket sales seems a bit weak. but should be an okay showing for a game with only three weeks notice, little to no publicity and against a team about 100 places lower on the rankings then us. At least just about every Thai person within SEQld should be turning up.

I was going to fly down for it but ended up not being able to get away from work early enough. I'm expecting about 20-25K crowd wise. Thais are missing a few of their key players apparently, hopefully should be a 4-5+ goal win.

Bought tickets this arvo and the almighty pax is over 20K, hopefully the weather stays nice and clear and the walk ups might be able to push it closer to 30. Still should be a comfortable win. You can't get odds of better then about $1.10/15 for Australia to win.
