The marina being constructed here is quite large, perhaps 2/3 the size of Dubai Marina. Yet, look how little development is being planned as far as buildings go. Obviously, this plan won't hold. In time it will be crammed with villas and apartment blocks to pay off the astronomical cost of creating this marina.

Do you know when construction of buildings will start? I have bought an apartment in building 5 of 18 and PropertiesDubai gave me a completion date of March 2009 (do you think that is realistic?)

Mina Al Arab

RAK Properties informed that the completion date is likely to be 2010 - The hotel and villas will be built first and the appartments right at the end.

I've seen quite a few units popping up in the market here.

Is this a good investment? The prices are cheap and seems to be a no brainer.
Just want to get some input from others?

Are there any units available straight from the developer?

1st properties ready Jan 10 in granada district villas and townhouses on private beach.
Showhomes will be built within 6 months so prices are expected to rise .
A good investment is one where you can afford ...

Availability

We have just become agents for Mina Al Arab following from our successful sales and growing relationship with the Ras Al Khaimah property market.

We feel this will become a truly remarkable beach resort. Considering Dubai Marina developments are selling at AED 2400 sq ft at the moment, RAK developments are a steal.

Previous investors on Mina Al Arab have seen growth of over 50% pa, and the way things are going over there, we can sense the trend will continue for a while yet.
