The bars are holding the wall that surrownd the site....I know that in Romania they are also obliged but they don't respect the ... imposed measures...of protection.....so they prevent the wall from collapsing...and also the building next to the construction site...so it might not collaps....woking next to it's base...I so a similar accident in romania....where they've digged close to another building and managed to collapse it ..

I believe there are some holdups with the construction loans. I'm a wee bit concerned.

They're excavating 3 levels of clay in a very confined space. It takes time.

I can imagine this building's construction pace to be pretty fast with very little to no delays once the ground work is completed. Maybe I'm just being optemistic.

That is one amazing picture! I understand that there's alot of foundation and axcavation work they must perform but it still stinks that the building isn't above street level yet. Hopefully this summer the building will rise!

Wow I now can appreciate all the stuff going down there. That is one DEEP hole and I can see if the huge bars or pipes or whatever were not there, the adjacent buildings probably would collapse!!!
