Something about this building brings to mind the Chrysler Building for me. It's just very graceful, queen-like. Also it's the same height so go figure! Haha.

I wanted to add this photo of the model for a base comparison.
Those pillas shown in the model shot seems unexceptionally exaggerated.

Well obviously that model is inaccurate. Just a glance between the model and the construction indicates that those front pillars will be MUCH bigger than the model suggests. Also I've failed to see any magic hydraulic effect yet, but I might have to wait until the building is done to commence magic pimpin'.

It's a shame they can't incorporate the river in the design. It'd look nice if they had a sort of dock so people can leave their boats there and go up into the building.

I've asked one of my contacts, and he confirmed that there will NOT BE A MASS DAMPER.

The 6-lane wide Wacker Drive that seperates the tower from the river is a bit of a hindering factor.

Not to nitpick, but I believe the pillars they are currently constructing are the bigger ones you can see behind the glass on the model.. That would be consistent with the smaller external ones being an extension of the facade.. I may be wrong though..

Nope, the large columns in the photos of the structure under construction line up with the sidewalk. The columns are understated in the model.

I just noticed when you compare the model to the actual structure, the pillar on the far left corner of the real building is the same width as the a 4 other main pillars in the model. My guess is the model maker confused the two measurements.

exactly, no chance a boat dock could have been incorporated.

i was thinkin...since the building is coved on two sized, then the verticalness

(not a word..i think?) should take off at least till they rise above the

surronding building right? ? ? ? ? ne ideas?
