I think you can see the rebar sticking up in that picture with the orange caps on top which is not easy to see. Looks like that's where they'll continue.

April 14 - Lunch

Concrete pump head coming down

and going out ( for now ), I remind myself that this stuff is periodically overhauled, and at this location there wouldn't be room to work on it on-site.

Unfortunately, I will have to agree and recommend that the status on this one be changed from "U/C" to "ON HOLD".

No offense, but only credible sources should make that kind of a call.

Easy guys. I think helghast is right. It looks right about the place where the setback is supposed to occur. Just look at the renderings in the first page.

It's not just me but in the photo below or the design of the tower show floors are very horizontal and flat as usual. But looking at update photos of waterview tower construction, it shows floors aren't quite horizontal but at a slight rainbow shape (bent upwards). Maybe its is the design.

Only the front side of the tower is rainbow shaped. you can see the curve on the photo better

Troubled Waterview tower appears back on track

The developers of Chicago's Waterview tower, a 90-story hotel-condominium skyscraper that appeared to be in financial trouble last week because of the credit crunch, said today that they now have construction financing that will allow the project to move forward.

The developers, Chicago-based Teng, e-mailed reporters a news relase from Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. The release says that the Beijing Construction Engineering Group and its American subsidiary have arranged for more than $300 million in consturction financing to complete the project.

Take that Roeder you douche.
