i dont want to start an arguement but why is this still in the under construction forum?

shouldn't it be in the proposed section like the spire thread?

So sad that construction has stopped. This would have been a great addition to the Chicago skyline.

It's sad this is on hold but the global crisis may be over in a few months.

you can be sure that the crisis won't be forever, and probably the situation will get better during this year

Feb 23 - am - a quite site - aside from the faint tinkling of saftey straps in the wind.

Feb 23 - pm - catching some rays.

Feb 26 - a rainy day.

As reported work was going on Friday with rolls of new blue fence/cloth stuff and stacks of plywood, there was much hammering and sawing coming from inside. (click on thumbs for full size )

the end of a busy week.

The hotel that was going to secure the base just pulled out.....so this one is pretty much dead for the time being.

The local newspaper just put out a story asking people what they think should happen to the shell. Sad too, since I actually liked this building more than any of the others that were going up.

Every time I walk passed this I just wonder what it would look like or what level would they be on if construction hadn't stopped.
