I know that QC is part of Metro Manila but why are they building Manila Tower in QC? Why not in Downtown Manila? I dont get why all the good stuff has to be outside the main city of manila.

I guess the powers that be want to build it on their home turf even though the tower name is a misnomer if it is located at the Araneta Center in Quezon City.

^ Yes it will realize, slowly but surely. 950,000 square meters of pure shopping, yeah it's huge, but I'm sure the new ones in China will easily edge this one out, especially that the target date of completion of this one is still within 5-10 years

Manhattan Garden City!! What a xenophobic way of naming a project!! Megaworld should rename this to something that does not connote a western city !!! Where is the Filipino Identity here!! In the trash bin?

I agree with great184. Do we have a mall in the Philippines that showcase our culture? I think most of the designs are western. IMO.

Err..Tiendesitas? or perhaps Greenbelt. or Alabang Town Center, though it looks more Spanish-inspired.

^ No, it is not owned by the Americans. There has been no explanation/press release why the project has been called such

Surely as Malls are an American (western invention) they're inevitably going to be called western in design, regardless of the actual design of the mall.

Anyway they all full of the same brands available in cities all over the world.
