I was born in Bucharest, but I've been living around Chicago for about 15 years.Here are couple of photos of my hometown.Most of the people who come to Romania are extremely surprised, since the media is trying to show only bad things about it just so they can make a buck.Guess what there are way more homeless people in New York alone than in the entire Romania wich is a country of 23 milion.Whatever, I don't have to tell you what's going on.They will try to put you down but the secret is to keep going and quietly get rich lol.

A real jewel indeed.It was called "Paris of the east" before WW2.

To me it looks like it has a 'shy personality' but just waiting for the right moment to come out

I was born in Romania as well, but we moved to Holland when I was 2.
It's really a nice country with wonderful landscapes, and most people think that Romania is poor but it really isn't that poor as most of u maybe think.

Wow, impressive. Honestly i haven't seen many pics of Romania so i'm never sure of what to expect.

Buna Ziua, yes I will soon, I'm trying to gather more photos.i hope you'll enjoy your visit in Romania, I'm planning to return myself this year (2007), too, after some 15 years, since Romania joined the union and all.
