Seoul, Korea WoW!!!

It seems that Seoul's urban set-up is way more organized than any other Asian or any city for that matter. I mean, look at those parks and tree lined avenues! Don't forget that hideous highway converted into an amazingly breath-taking artificial river-like body of water with greenery/vegetation further beautifying it. Wow! Only Seoul could do that!

1.Seoul

It is probable that competition within korean cities will be intensified as time goes on.

For example, Chunan city proposed this supertall to rival their neighbour city, Asan city which plan to build 284m office buildingand many high-rises.
(Chunan is the bigger city than Asan until now, but this will be changed soon. Asan is one of the fastest growing cities in Korea)
But I don't think they can build this tower anytime soon.

Chunan Tower
103floors 473m

Great list citypia.

My favourite is still the Lotte Tower 2.

I love the top. It looks so traditional (resembles the royal hats worn in the palaces). Man, this will be the best lit tower ever! It will be like a huge lighthouse

The Mews and Developments forum is for exactly what its posting rules call for... Threads about individual projects, or compilation lists of a city's projects... It is not for synoptic threads discussing an entire nation's past, present and future of highrise architecture.

Conversely, this is exactly what the Buildings and Architecture forum exists for.

In the future, please follow the forum's posting guidelines as they appear in the "Readme" at the top of the forum, and there will be no problem...

Cheers.
