Two of my favorite streets ever.
The part of Broadway in the UpperWestSide of Manhattan was referred to as "The Boulevard".

The Netherlands don't really feature any 'wide boulevards' (monumentalism is considered architectural blasphemy in this calvinist country); the one that comes closest must be the 'Coolsingel' in Rotterdam. Here's one picture; I'll see if I can dig up some others:
