Where do u heard that 'khabar angin'?? It's not true la.. I live near there, I know whether it is good or not, many people or not...

so far, I see there a quite people or I can say average number when they visited at Monday to Thursday... but so many people in Weekend.... it's normal la....

In terms of population, it is 4 times the size of Sibu. Ipoh Urban population come near to 1 million.

owhh... no wonder nowadays... there so many cars around city... it's not like that several years ago when I'm easy to drive in the city.. but now??

adding more.. the number are now "AGB5131"...

Tengku Adnan Asks Firefly To Expand Destinations

LANGKAWI, May 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Airline System Bhd-owned community airline, FireFly Sdn Bhd, needs to expand its destinations and can use Subang Airport as its second operation centre after Penang, said Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

He said from Subang Airport, FireFly could fly to Ipoh and Banda Aceh, Padang and Medan in Indonesia.

"Expanding the routes will bring more tourists to the country," he said at the press conference after opening the Fifth Global Meet Malaysia 2007 here today.

FireFly, which started operations early April from Penang International Airport, flies to Kota Bahru, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu and Langkawi and Phuket and Koh Samui in Thailand using Fokker 50 aircraft.

Meanwhile, Tengku Adnan said the Langkawi-Bangkok route, operated by Thai AirAsia, was not carrying "a good load".

"We have ask the carrier to hang on. The Tourism Ministry will organise joint promotions to woo more Thai tourists," he said.

The Fifth Global Meet Malaysia is an annual event initiated by Tourism Malaysia and Malaysian airlines to promote the country as a destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions.

It is much slower now. Back in twenty years ago, the 'A' plate was the second fastest in Malaysia. It was just behind the 'B' plate.
