* definitely plus point!!! Burger King, KFC, Wendys are all available in Ipoh. For Wendys, only Ipoh and Klang Valley have it... * For those fast food lover, they will concern this point as important key for city..

It is really no point to compare Ipoh to other cities/towns, but those people who said their cities/towns are better than Ipoh, from which perspective they come out with the conclusion? Some of the places even given 5 years also can't win ipoh provided Ipoh remain the same for 5 years. And I am very happy that our brothers like Kampar, Taiping, Manjung also doing well recently. Hopefully Perak can become one of the developed state in future.

ipoh need downtown mall that have quality tenants, from fashion to eatery..
the only mall that ideal are ipoh parade.. store like h&m, uniqlo n others are can setup their maiden store here. this brand are not expensive, n affordable for most ipohites..and popular eatery like chilis, subway, tgi n so on are being crazed by most ipohites..
ipoh downtown need / must be happening and more urban and appealing..

Any update on Ipoh Airport? Any idea when is it going to be in full operation and what flights do land in the airport from KLIA?

Thank you.

The Aeon Klebang (2015, confirmed) sure will come? or just those developer marketing gimmick to boost the property value at that area? I really don't think Ipoh is so big enough to fit three Aeon shopping centre, or maybe Aoen over estimated the Ipoh people purchasing power.

it's confirmed already..... because, the area of KLEBANG will boost like MERU RAYA.....and IPOH govern target is to make 1 MILLION ++ population menjelang 2015 (this rumors i'm not sure, maybe around 2013 - 2015). Actually, IPOH really need the THIRD AEON here to separate the IPOH people who crazy like hell in every weekend to go shopping at AEON. Boleh tengok masa seminggu sebelum RAYA AIDILFITRI... KINTA CITY and STATION 18 really jammed like hell!! My fren working at MAJLIS BANDARAYA IPOH also come out with the same idea of me that IPOHAN 'must' have THIRD AEON here.... or maybe, FOURTH SHOPPING MALL here....

IPOH bukan lagi bandar koboi yang dulu...IPOH sekarang sudah disebut2 oleh org JB, KL and even PENANG.... U know what...IPOH INDEPENDANCE BAND really famous in KL.... KL people said, IPOH really have a HUGE number of INDI BAND...

Sory for my bad english~~ kekekekeke

LOL. Good English though.

There must be some reasons why big company like AEON would like to set up their mall in Klebang. They surely have studied the population, development & people's purchasing power before they planning to be build there.

I'm okay with that.. as long as it can increase the environment/development in the area and create employment opportunities for local residents

it might be possible, since the 70% of Ipoh's population are the chinese. But that is not the problem. I have lived in Ipoh since I was born 28years ago, no big deal. It is all depend on the people's purchasing power and all races can live harmony in one place
