I can't wait to see the cladding finish up now. This is a really beautiful skyscraper. Another supertall for China!

The tower will include an InterContinental Hotel, if it hasn't already been mentioned. It will be one of the world's tallest hotels, needless to say.

According to the architect website, final height is 458m. Should we believe it? No other source says 458m but 450m...

So the Chinese have the whole podium now by spire height (excluding non topped out skyscrapers), this wont last much though.

Top 10, Chinese supertalls leading.

1- Taipei 101 (508m)
2- SWFC (492m)
3- Greenland Plaza (458m)

4- Petronas Tower 1 (452m)
5- Petronas Tower 2 (452m)
6- Sears Tower (442m)
7- Jin Mao (421m)
8- 2IFC (415m)
9- CITIC Plaza (391m)
10- Shun Hing Square (384m)

* Any other 384m+ t/o?

Anyway, though China will have up to 20x400m+ u/c skyscrapers within late 2009, imo this ranking wont be so Chinese ever again. At least in decades.

Actually, Adrian's Smith's website (SSP's source) says it is 458m. Although, SOM.com says it's 450m so we can't be sure.
