opening is when the tower is occupied i think, i dont think theres too much demand cus no one moved in yet. If the demand is real high, usually they finish the bottom part first so companies can move in.

in that pic the name GREENland plaza actually makes sense.

And yea, its taken from a heli, or plane/airballoon etc. but theres no other supertall next to it.

considering that the top of the spire is at 450m, it must have been Burj Dubai from that angle ...

Huh? Haven't you ever looked at the first post of this thread? It shows the road position quite clearly, as do many of the other pics that have since been posted.
