Už sme to tu toľkokrát vysvetľovali...

In to Řepy. There was some thinkings about extension through Řepy further on airport Ruzyně. But Ruzyně will be served by line A and high speed track.

Thank you. I hope A line will end somewhere in Motol at first and airport will be served by train (going on modernised track). It makes much more sense to me.

Yes, it's my opinion too. Though priority is line D I think. Soon will be resolved as to type of metro (hard or light).

Future of Metro

I think at the end the money that the city will receive from the state or European Union funds for metro construction will determine if both lines will be extended or if line D will be built. I believe line D will be built first if both only one is to be built since its further in preparation process.

And I personally think line A should be extended all the way to the airport and all underground. Since this way it will give access to people in those areas to quickly go to the city center and use public transportation. I dont think anyone else other then the visitors and airport travelers would use the highspeed rail line to Masaryk Train Station as I am sure the ticket would be much more expensive then taking the metro.

And by the way, great job everyone for nice photos and keeping up this thread up to date!

Yesterday I exceptionally used line B and saw 81-71M going on opposite side which quite surprised me, it was first time I saw it on line B.

Well, my opinion is contrary. Light rail from Airport to the center would be useful for city of Kladno as well, besides, railway stations like Dejvice and Bubny need urgent modernisation. Metro to airport would be more expensive, much more needed is to connect airport and railways, e.g. transfer to international trains same as in Frankfurt and all bigger airports. Metro is mainly for domestic citizens, I can't imagine hundreds people with their luggage transfering from line A to B, C... that's impossible.
