You have a mistake. The pics, seen as second Greek Patriach is Turkish Ortodox Patriach.

You can see in the pic if you look closely:

They call it Merkez Meryem Ana Kilisesi: Central Mary the Mother Church

You can visit. A different athmosphere. You can see old Turkish Orthodox tombs in Greek alphabet. Turkish Orthodox people were using Greek alphabet. If you know how to read Greek letters, you will see Turkish senteces written in Hellenic letters in the stones centuries old.

İn same place, Aziz Yahya Ortodoks Kilisesi,

Turkish Orthodoxes are not really recognized. Greek Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox, Assyrian Orthodox don't tell you nationality, they tell the style of the Orthodoxy. I know Turks saying "We are Greek Orthodox Turks."

I don't really know how to tell but in Anatolia things can be too strange.

I know many many old people learning Turkish language after arriving Anatolia, they were probably Greek Muslims sent to Anatolia during 1930s. Funny to see them hating Greeks and loving Greece and they probably have Greek blood.

Peace, war brings tragic and comic results.
