Nice!
Could you please add the quarter where they are located? So the first one is in Balikli, and the second one?

Saint Polycarp Church (Armenian Catolic) - Izmir
The Saint Polycarp Church is the oldest church in Izmir and represents ancient Smyrna's role as one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Saint Polycarp was converted by the John the Apostle and became Bishop of Smyrna. He was martyred by the Romans at age 86 in 155 AD at Kadifkale, which was atop the hill near modern-day Izmir. According to tradition, when they tried to burn Polycarp at the stake, the flames wouldn't touch him. They finally stabbed him to death. The Church of Saint Polycarp in Izmir was reconstructed in 1620.

That's actually the main church of the Armenian Patriarchate in Kumkapi/Istanbul, it's not Catholic but Gregorian.

Here are three minor churches on and around Istiklal street:

Saint Mother of God/Surp Asvazoni (Catholic):

I have no idea about the name or the denomination of this one, but it has crosses on it! I wanted to visit it and rang the bell, but there was only a woman in a night gown looking out of a window and shaking her head energetically. Seems like 9 o'clock was too early. It's next to Odakule.

I'd say that most local people also don't know that there are as many churches in Istanbul. I don't blame them - most of these buildings are hard to find, or are in very poor areas.
